PIES & PASTRY
Do you find the process of making pastry a little daunting? Well, fear not because we are here to teach you all about it! In this class, we will make both shortcrust and rough puff pastry from scratch before making delicious savoury and sweet pies. This 4 hour class takes place in our kitchen and is fully hands on – you chop, prep and cook!
(Note: this menu is dependent on the availability of local, seasonal ingredients and may change to suit the availability of ingredients)
A 4 hour hands on cooking experience (you chop, prep, learn, cook and taste) with an incredibly experienced and talented local Chef!!
PLUS ask our Chef lots of questions about the techniques and ingredients used (we talk about a variety of things during our classes)

This class is on SUNDAY 28TH OCTOBER 2018 and runs from 9am to 1pm
Location is our café Gather @ The Family Table located at 8/839 Mackay Bucasia Road, Bucasia QLD 4750 (in the same complex as Annie’s Nursery and The Salvation Army store).
*Closed in shoes & hair tied back are mandatory. The Family Table supplies your apron for the class but please wear comfortable clothing as you will be on your feet for most of the class.
Maximum 10 people per class (a minimum of 6 people are required to run this class).
